Originally hailing from the Mitten State, I came to Alaska seeking a new adventure and a like-minded community. I enjoy that I can use my hand as a map to show where I live in both the US states that mean the most to me!

After achieving a BS in Information with a UX Design focus from the University of Michigan, I spent time working in user experience at a cybersecurity startup. Then, after initially moving to Lingít Aaní (Sitka, Alaska) as a volunteer, I spent time freelancing in UX and Web Design.

I’ve always been someone who is both creative and analytical. So, as a Web User Experience Developer at Cedar Group, I love that I spend time both crafting creative solutions on the UX side and problem solving on the development side! I love being a UX professional, because I constantly get to develop and interweave my most important value, empathy, into all the work I do.
