I am proud to say I was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska.

I had the opportunity to learn from professors in the Alaska University system, my Elders in my community and my cultural leaders across Alaska. Along with my learning opportunities, my long-standing curiosity in photography allowed me to bring my education and perspective into my contract work, which led to my opportunity at Cedar Group.

As someone who’s grown up very much learning from storytellers, I enjoy continuing to learn from community while working with them, while also trying to figure out how to share stories in the most authentic way using photography and writing.
